Westwood College's ultimate goal is to provide a top-notch education to students who want a quality degree and want it fast! Offering both a traditional classroom education and a non traditional online education, busy adults have many options that can get them on the fast track to success. They can earn an Associates degree in as little as 20 months and a Bachelors degree in three years, complete with skills that can be used immediately in the their employment lives.

 

For those who prefer a traditional brick and mortar college where they can attend on-site classes, Westwood offers campuses in the Chicago area, southern California, Atlanta, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and Denver. Students that do not live in those areas or who prefer the flexibility and convenience of an online program can also attend Westwood College through internet programs.

 

The history of Westwood dates back several decades; Westwood College has been providing training for high demand technical careers from its inception. Originally, Westwood College began as the Denver Institute for Technology, which was started in 1953. Since then, the institution has evolved to the current Westwood College of the present, evaluating current career trends and needs, and developing cutting edge programs to meet those needs. Westwood offers degree programs in Business, Design, Computer & Information Technology, Industrial Services, Criminal Justice, and Health Care.

 

Corporations and organizations are encouraged to take part in Westwood's educational alliance program. Members of companies and organizations that have joined this alliance can receive a reduced tuition rate as well as waived fees throughout the application process. Alliance members are given first priority of the most recent qualified Westwood graduates for employment, providing excellent hiring opportunities for all involved. One benefit enjoyed by graduates of companies in this education alliance Westwood College's offering of cost-free updates on courses related to their position. This tuition-free graduate retraining lasts for the graduates' lifetime. Classes for Alliance members start immediately and are focused on current industry standard technology.
